What is CDENT?
  • a registered environmental body under the Landfill Communities Fund.

  • a limited company independent of local authorities and landfill operators.

  • non-profit making grant distributing organisation.

  • receives donations from the Durham County Waste Management Company (Premier Waste Management)and administers the scheme for Lafarge Aggregates, in the northern area, and is willing to enter into similar arrangements with other potential donors.

  • CDENT normally registers projects with ENTRUST in its own name.

  • funds selected eligible projects in County Durham and Darlington, and adjacent areas of Sunderland, South Tyneside and Gateshead.
